A Time to Contemplate with Simon Chokoisky

“This is going to be perhaps the worst Valentine’s Day ever,” said Simon a day before my favorite holiday. Asceticism is the word. Love of the divine within ourselves. This is what is being called for during these lean times of COVID – to mine the gold from within ourselves, our deepest wisdom and connection to the divine. This meant our wading through what he termed the “worst Valentine’s Day ever” as many of us just aren’t “feeling it” toward our partners. Be patient, Simon says. The days of coming together once again are drawing near. This may even mean a lessening of the effects of COVID on our societies.
